Screening and Panel —-
Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness
This free event features a powerful new documentary that examines the root causes of homelessness and explores comprehensive solutions. The screening will be followed by an engaging panel co-moderated by School of Social Work Dean Beth Angell and City of Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor, featuring the following panelists: Don Sawyer (film director), Roshanak Mehdipanah (UM School of Public Health), Jennifer Hall (Ann Arbor Housing Commission), and Molly Smith (Avalon Housing). Prior to the event, University of Michigan faculty research on poverty and homelessness will be featured in the lobby.
Fire Chief Mike Kennedy will join Council Members Ghazi Edwin and Radina for a
discussion on fire safety. Join us on January 25th from 10am-11am at York!
Halloween Activities
10/27 Trick or Treater Parade
11:30am | Line up at the Ann Arbor District Library
12pm | The Parade will begin at E. William and conclude at Washington St.
12:15pm-1:30 pm | Downtown Trick or Treating. Participating businesses will have a balloon outside of their location.
1:30pm-3pm | Spooktacular Activities on Main St.
